I Won't Join Inter - Toulouse Defender Franck Tabanou

Last minute rejection for Inter as Franck Tabanou turns them down.
Inter's talks for Toulouse defender Franck Tabanou have been blown off course after receiving rejection.

Comprehensive talks had been fired up last week and they were confirmed by agent Philippe Lamboley.

However, in a contrasting twist to the transfer, Tabanou was at pains to stress he had no intention of joining the European champions in January.

"I have read the interest from Inter for me, but for now I am focused on doing well with Toulouse," Tabanou, 21, is quoted as saying on Itasportpress.it.

"I don't want to get ideas in my head. I will remain at Toulouse and I am sure of this 100 per cent."

Tabanou is contracted with the French club until 2013.
