Mallorca coach Michael Laudrup has revealed he saw two different sides in their clash against Athletic Bilbao, winning 1-0 this evening.

The Dane was delighted with Los Bermellones' first-half performance, but everything changed afte rthe interval, when Bilbao began to attack more, looking for an equalising goal.

"We had a pretty good game in the first-half and only score one goal. They took more risks after the break and we failed to exploit the spaces they left open," the tactician told AS post-match.

"We had to win and break our losing streak, which had gone on for too long.

We suffered a lot in the second-half. We could have done damage, but it was a much deserved win, and we had to suffer until the end.

"I knew we were not going to win by three or four goals, as they have a really good side. Now, we have 31 points, and are starting to feel much calmer about our position in the league," he added.
