Ibrox chief reacts to reports suggesting his No. 1 is being scouted.
Arsenal's supposed interest in Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor intensified when reports suggested they had sent scouts to watch him perform against Hibs on Wednesday night.
Aston Villa have previously declared an interest in the Scotland international and Manchester United have also been linked, but Gers boss Walter Smith was extremely defensive over suggestions his No. 1 is likely to move.
Smith told reporters: "How do you know they were watching him? There are probably about 20 scouts here tonight so how do you know they were watching Allan McGregor? Were they all watching him?
"We have 20 scouts at every home game, it's a natural thing that they come to football matches.
"I'm sure Arsene would have phoned me if he was wanting to take him and you will be the first to know if he gets in touch!"
