Villarreal's Injury Problems Mount As Santi Cazorla Suffers Hamstring Strain

Villarreal winger Santi Cazorla to miss at least two games after suffering hamstring injury.
Villarreal’s injury problems continue to mount with the news that Santi Cazorla will be ruled out for the next two matches with a hamstring injury.

The Spanish international suffered the problem in the wake of the Yellow Submarines' 3-3 draw with Sevilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night.

He will miss the weekend match against Osasuna at El Madrigal, and also the return clash with Sevilla next midweek.

Furthermore, back-up goalkeeper Juan Carlos faces six weeks out after limping off in the same match, while holding midfielder Bruno Soriano also faces a race to be fit for action in time for the visit of Los Rojillos.

The trio add their names to those currently out of action for coach Juan Carlos Garrido. Marcos Senna is sidelines with a torn tendon in his right leg, striker Nilmar is recovering from knee surgery, and full-back Angel is out for the remainder of the season after suffering cruciate ligament damage.
