Inter's injured star Wesley Sneijder believes they can successfully defend their title.
Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder is certain that the Nerazzurri can continue their streak of Scudettos this season as they chase city rivals Milan.
The club faltered under former boss Rafael Benitez, but have picked up the pace in the new year and now are only six points back of the Rossoneri with a game in hand.
"I believe Inter can retain the championship," he was quoted as saying by Sportal.
"Milan are strong, but we are also here, we are working towards winning."
The 26-year-old has not featured for the club since Leonardo took over as he picked up a hamstring injury at the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi. However, he was not specific on when he would return to the line-up.
"When will I return from injury? I don't know but I'm working well," concluded the Dutch international.
