Gianluigi Buffon: Juventus Can Beat Inter & Finish Season With Champions League Place

Juventus 'Keeper Buffon sees Champions League place within reach, but Inter stand in the way.
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon insists they can resolve Champions League issues by beating Inter in Sunday's Derby d'Italia.

Buffon has spelled out where Juve can end the season, and maintains his belief Milan will be champions, despite a steady climb from the Nerazzurri.

"Juventus objectives? Ours is a place in the Champions League. For the Scudetto I won't change opinion... Milan," Buffon told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Inter can beat anyone, but after Sunday night. Milan's lead has been cut, but they will resist pressure."

It has been a slippery slope at times for Juventus with alternating form, but Buffon feels they can sooth the problems.

"We want to win on Sunday and I think the club has clear ideas over winning things in future. There are positive signs," Buffon said.

"My dream is to win the Scudetto again with this shirt, everone knows how much I love Juventus."
