Inter's Julio Cesar: The Match Against Juventus Is Just Like Any Other

Brazilian glovesman Julio Cesar underlined Inter’s desire to continue winning ahead of the big match against Juventus.
As Inter look to keep up the chase on leaders Milan as they prepare to take on rivals Juventus in the aptly named ‘Derby d’Italia’, goalkeeper Julio Cesar has urged his teammates to treat the match like any other.

“The game against Juventus is one we want to win,” he declared to SkySport24.

“We want all three points to send out another signal to those who are ahead of us in the standings.

“It’s obvious that the Derby d’Italia is a particular game but I think it is just any other.

“The most important thing is to ensure the victory and everything else counts for little.

“I am a little surprised by Juventus’ current placing in the standings as it’s strange to see them so low down. They are experiencing a difficult moment but we are well aware of the threats they pose in attack.

“[Luca] Toni is coming back with a great desire and [Alessandro] Matri has already shown that Juventus made a good choice with two goals against his former side.”

The Nerazzurri will look to reclaim third place with a win this evening.
