Jose hails Lahoz as best referee in La Liga, but highlights mistakes in his side's narrow victory over Espanyol.
Speaking after his side's 1-0 away win against Espanyol, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho reserved high praise for the referee, despite his belief that mistakes were made in the match.
Iker Casillas recieved a red card in the first two minutes of the game, for a soft challenge on Jose Maria Callejon, but Mourinho did not hold a grudge against the referee, stating that he would still like to see him referee every game.
"I would still like to see Mateu Lahoz in every game. Maybe he made a mistake with the red card or the possible penalty," Mourinho said. "He's a great referee with a philosophy that I like very much, and has a great success rate in matches."
Mourinho also praised his side for the win, hailing their attitude despite the adverse circumstances they faced, holding special praise for Pepe and Adebayor.
"Pepe had a fantastic match, and Adebayor came close three times," said the Portuguese tactician. "Everybody has sacrificed and had a great match."
