Royston Drenthe: Hercules Blocked Me From Joining Juventus

Royston Drenthe revealed Hercules blocked his loan move to Juventus.
Hercules midfielder Royston Drenthe says he wanted to join Juventus on loan for the remainder of the season, but the Alicante club blocked the move.

The 23-year-old Dutchman joined Hercules on a season-long loan from Real Madrid, and had been linked with a move to the Bianconeri during the the final days of the winter transfer window.

"I am saddened because the club did not let me go," Drenthe was reported as saying by Tuttomercatoweb. "Juventus wanted me, I had agreed to go but Hercules did not let me go.

"As a professional, I will give everything for this squad, but if they keep me on the bench, I cannot show my true worth to the fans."

Drenthe has reportedly not received his wages since November, and has refused to play until all monies have been paid.
