Bahrain goalkeeper Mahmood Mansoor says he wants to repay the faith shown in him by coach Salman Sharida.
Bahrain custodian Mahmood Mansoor says he is determined to repay the faith shown in him by coach Salman Sharida.

Mansoor made his international debut against South Korea on Monday, and wants to help his side to a victory against India in the Asian Cup.

"I am happy to have played and each player of Bahrain is proud to represent his country," the 30-year-old told the-AFC.com. "My coach has put a lot of faith in me and I hope I can repay him.

"The match against South Korea was very difficult but we have the motivation as players to play our best against India."

Bahrain will lock horns with India on Friday.
