Mallorca striker Emilio Nsue has confessed he finds the fluctuating form of Monday’s opponents Atletico Madrid “a mystery”.

The Islanders travel to the Vicente Calderon on Monday evening to face Los Colchoneros, whose season has once again been dogged by inconsistency.

Nsue claims however that their unpredictability means that there is the possibility the Balearic outfit can come away from the capital with a positive result.

He remarked: “We can do damage there. We will go all out in a field where they will be under a lot of pressure. They are a strong team, and difficult to play against, and they are a rival that can often be a mystery, but we must trust ourselves because we know we can beat them.”

The 21-year-old also stated that it is vital the team manage to keep dangerous attacker Sergio Aguero at bay if they are to emerge victorious.

He said: “He is a vital part of their team, because he scores a major percentage of the team’s goals. However, they also have major players in midfield, too.”
