Chelsea Prospect Gael Kakuta Undergoing Fulham Medical Ahead Of Loan Move

Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta is having a medical ahead of a proposed loan move to Fulham, according to Sky Sports.

Mark Hughes revealed last week that he had a keen interest in the teenager and wants to take the Frenchman – who excelled in last summer's European Under-19 Championship – on loan until the end of the season.

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has struggled to fit him into his first team plans at Stamford Bridge and Kakuta has made just four starts this season.

The Italian boss has been open to the idea of his young starlet going on loan for him to gain experience.

Several French clubs have also shown interest into the attacker, including Lille, Marseille and Bordeaux, but it seems certain now that Fulham will pip the competition to capture the 19-year-old.
