England manager Fabio Capello was reportedly not kept in the loop concerning the future appointment of a new coach who would work across all areas of the national team.
Now The News of the World claims that the former Real Madrid and Juventus boss was astonished that he was not consulted over the appointment.
The general secretary of the FA, Alex Horne, announced that he had someone in mind to work with the Italian tactician, who is thought to have asked for an addition to his staff after the World Cup debacle.
It has been reported that Capello may be willing to discuss his future with his employers, should they entertain doubts concerning whether he has what it takes to manage the national side during Euro 2012.
