Udinese president Gian Paolo Pozzo has said the club will hold on to Alexis Sanchez despite interest from Inter and Barcelona.
Inter have been told to forget about signing Udinese ace Alexis Sanchez as the club have no plans to sell him during the January transfer window.
Friulani president Gian Paolo Pozzo has advised the Nerazzurri to shelve plans for the 22-year-old Chilean ace who has also attracted interest from Barcelona as Goal.com exclusively revealed on Sunday.
However, Pozzo has made it clear he has no intention to cash in on the player.
"Everyone is shackled. Sanchez? There was an interest from Inter, but there is no point speaking about something that cannot happen," Pozzo told GR Parlamento.
"We cannot dismantle the team midway through the season when we also have the Coppa Italia to play for."
Pozzo's message comes less than 24 hours after Inter president Massimo Moratti admitted his club were no longer pursuing the winger.
"Sanchez? We don't need to go on the market," Moratti told the press.
