Miguel Angel Lotina says Deportivo La Coruna are more focused on doing well in La Liga than the Copa del Rey.
Deportivo La Coruna boss Miguel Angel Lotina has revealed the side's primary objective is to do well in La Liga, and not to perform strongly in the Copa del Rey.

Depor lost 1-0 to Almeria in the quarter-final first leg, and praised the oppostion for their win.

"We tried to do our part over the 90 minutes," Lotina expressed to Marca post-match. "We were comfortable on the ball, but we allowed Almeria to dictate play.

"There is little else to say, but that the result is not so bad as there is still another match to play which will decide everything. Almeria played well, and I congratulate them.

"They had more chances than us to score, however we have an eye focused on doing well in the league, which is really important to us," he concluded.
