Stoke City On The Verge Of Signing Hoffenhein Striker Demba Ba

Stoke City are close to signing Hoffenheim striker Demba Ba.
English side Stoke City and German club Hoffenheim have reportedly agreed to a deal over Senegalese striker Demba Ba.

According to Kicker, the Potters are prepared to pay €7 million for the 25-year-old, which could rise to as much as €9m. There will also be a 20 per cent on-selling clause inserted should the hitman move on.

The French-born Senegalese international is set to arrive in England later today to undergo a medical with the club.

Ba arrived at Hoffe from the now defunct Belgian side Mouscron in 2007. He made 97 league appearances for the team and scored 37 times, whilst also providing eight assists.
