Nigel de Jong Not Worried About Darren Bent As Manchester City Look To Beat Aston Villa Again

Nigel de Jong says hes is not worried about Aston Villa's new signing Darren Bent ahead of Manchester City's game at Villa Park on Saturday.

City comfortably beat Villa 4-0 just a few weeks ago but de Jong says he is not fazed about facing a Midlands club gunning for revenge.

"For me it isn’t a matter of who you play, but how you play," the Dutch international told the club's official website.

"You have to beat everybody and so it doesn’t matter when you play the games or even if you play somebody back-to-back – the bottom line is we still have to get three points."

De Jong admits that Bent will add quality to a struggling Villa side, stating that he expects a very different game to the last encounter between the two sides.

"Obviously, Darren Bent will add to the threat they pose and they’re playing at home so it will be completely different from the last time we played them," he said.

"Bent is their record signing and so it’ll probably be a full house to watch him play his first game.

"For us, however, it is just another game. We have to be 100 per cent focused and get three points. That has to be our aim in every game if we want to win the league this season."
