Bari Replace Giampiero Ventura With Bortolo Mutti As Coach

Mutti has replaced Ventura in the Bari hotseat.
Bari and Giampiero Ventura have parted company by mutual consent and the coaching responsibilities of the first team will now be handled by Bortolo Mutti.

The Italian club announced the decision on their official website on Thursday evening and thanked Ventura and his staff for their work with the team.

The 63-year-old was appointed the coach at the start of the 2009-10 campaign, in which he led the club to a respectable mid-table position.

This season, though, things have been difficult for Bari, who have struggled with injuries over the course of the campaign.

Bari are currently at the foot of the table in the Italian top flight with just 14 points from 24 matches.
