Italy and Prandelli paving the way forward with certainty, claims Abete.
The president of the FIGC (Italian FA) Giancarlo Abete believes Italy are making significant progress with Cesare Prandelli's rebuild following their 1-1 draw against Germany.

Abete feels performances are always escalating after la Nazionale fought back in Dortmund to maintain their 15-year unbeaten record against the Germans.

"We have restarted," Abete told the press.

Prandelli has reversed the decline witnessed at the World Cup. His actions for change are meeting the needs of the team, and Abete wants more.

"It's early to give a balance, but Prandelli has done extremely well in managing this first phase [of change].

"Yesterday I saw an authoritative Italy and they were assured on the pitch with a fluidity to their play which had been missing in previous games."
