Spain Keeper Iker Casillas Admits Colombia Deserved A Draw

Spain goalie Iker Casillas has admitted that Colombia deserved more than a 1-0 loss.
Colombia caused reigning world champions Spain all kinds of trouble in Wednesday's international friendly and the South Americans appeared to be on their way to a scoreless draw against the Furia Roja.

However, a late David Silva strike meant that Spain eventually left the pitch winners. Shot stopper Iker Casillas was quick to admit that the Europeans didn't really deserve their win though and pointed out that a draw would have been a fairer result.

"I think that a draw would probably have been a fairer result. Colombia deserved more than they eventually got," said Casillas to AS.

"Nevertheless, we hadn't been together for quite a while and that showed on the pitch. The most important thing is that we won a match again.

"Additionally, this game was a good test for the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers in March. This was a decent preparation."

Spain take on Czech Republic at home on March 25 before travelling to Lithuania four days later.
