Valencia Will Be Prepared For Schalke Showdown - Unai Emery

Valencia coach Unai Emery has vowed to adequately prepare his team for the second leg of los Che's Champions League clash with Schalke.
Following his team's 1-1 draw with Schalke at the Mestalla, coach Unai Emery vowed that Valencia would improve for the second leg.

"We will thoroughly prepare for the return leg," he pledged before commenting on Raul, who scored a second half equaliser for the Germans. "I would praise him, if he wouldn't have caused us so much harm."

Based on the play on the pitch, the gaffer considers the draw a fair result.

"Each team had their merits. If we drew, it's because that was the deserved outcome. [Vicente] Guaita made many saves but in the end they scored. We also failed to create chances," Emery said according to AS.

"Now we must think of La Liga. We must stay in a position in the standings to qualify for the Champions League."
