Fiorentina Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic Delighted With Comeback Victory Over Palermo

Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic praised Fiorentina’s character as they notched up their first away win in 11 months against Palermo.
As Fiorentina came from behind to end Palermo's recent winning streak at the Stadio Renzo Barbera, Viola coach Sinisa Mihajlovic praised his side for the manner in which they secured the three points.

“We have been waiting a long time for this result,” he declared to SkySport.

“It is never easy going 17 games away from home without a win and to do it here at Palermo makes the result all the more sweeter.

“Before the game we knew we could put them into difficulty and from the off my side played with a positive approach.

“Despite going behind twice the side continued to plug away with the right spirit and we were eventually rewarded with the victory.

“I wouldn’t say that this game could be the turning point in our season but we must continue to take each game at a time. The side is definitely improving and this fills me with optimism for the business end of the season.”
