Manchester City Deny Authorising Any Agent To Talk To Santos Concerning Neymar

Eastlands outfit insist 'no one in authority' has given the nod.
Manchester City have denied giving permission to any agent to speak with Santos concerning the potential transfer of the Brazilian club's striker, Neymar.

According to The News of the World, well known agent Andrea D'Amico told Santos that he had held discussions with Roberto Mancini concerning a potential move, with the club willing to discuss terms with the Brazil international.

However, the Eastlands outfit maintain that no agent has been given permission to move forward and open talks concerning a potential transfer for the 19-year-old attacker.

A spokeswoman for Manchester City is quoted as saying: "No one in authority at Manchester City has authorised an agent to act on the club's behalf in negotiations relating to Neymar."
